Introduction
While AI is revolutionizing how we build products, launching secure protocols in web3 is still painfully slow. Market narratives shift faster than ever, and as autonomous agents become more active participants in the crypto economy, builders need infrastructure that moves at the same speed.
Mosaic makes it possible to deploy complex, secure DeFi protocols in minutes instead of months. Our modular smart contract framework bridges the gap between ideation and production-ready deployment, empowering both human founders and AI agents to build the next generation of decentralized applications without the traditional barriers of time, cost, and technical complexity.
The Problem
Building products in web3 is time-consuming and expensive. Founders across the ecosystem face major obstacles that make going from idea to production extremely difficult. Development of web3 products currently requires significant upfront capital, technical skill, and specific security knowledge to execute properly.
Teams spend months designing, building, and auditing smart contracts only to deploy to production and discover that they've completely missed the trending narrative. By the time everything is ready, that narrative has moved on, and their time and money is wasted. This is an industry-wide problem that creates a disproportionate advantage for those with technical skills at the cost of those with more creative abilities.
Iterating on products to find true product–market fit is especially challenging in web3 due to security requirements and the time it takes to implement them. Traditional development cycles that take months are fundamentally incompatible with an industry where timing is everything. The result is that great ideas are never realized, and talented builders are stuck on the sidelines watching opportunities pass by.
Our Solution
Mosaic provides pre-built, audited infrastructure modules that let any project create complex decentralized protocols in minutes. Our plug-and-play system allows users to create dynamic token economies using flexible funding models and composable DeFi-focused components that maximize reusability—all with minimal technical expertise needed. It's built for both human founders and AI agents to deploy financial infrastructure autonomously, securely, and cost–effectively.
Every module we provide has already been professionally audited and battle–tested in production. There's no need to compromise on security to move fast, and our components work together seamlessly across different use cases.
Whether you're launching a prediction market, a token launchpad, or a completely new DeFi primitive, Mosaic gives you the secure foundation to go from idea to launch in a fraction of the time.
Who We're Building For
We're building Mosaic for anyone who wants to create in web3 but feels held back by the traditional barriers. AI agents that need to deploy financial infrastructure autonomously. Product owners who understand markets but need fast, secure deployment. Vibe coders who want to experiment without deep technical expertise. Development teams who want to ship faster without compromising on security.
We're also building for L1s and L2s who want to attract more builders to their networks. When Mosaic integrates with a chain, it doesn't just bring our protocol—it creates a fast lane for other builders to launch there too. More builders means more activity, users, transactions, and value flowing through the network.
Mosaic accelerates the creation and deployment of apps, dramatically reducing time–to–market and attracting projects that value speed and security.
Market Analysis
Demand for Faster Development
The market is shifting quickly due to the rise of AI and automated coding tools. We're seeing ideas become products faster than ever, and a growing demand for infrastructure that supports building at the same speed.
There's a massive gap between how quickly people can build with modern tools and how long it takes to deploy secure smart contracts, and that gap is the opportunity.
Growing AI User Bases
Trading bots already make up a large share of DeFi activity, and we expect them to be rapidly replaced by more capable AI agents as accessibility increases. As those agents become more active in the crypto economy, they'll need to be able to deploy financial infrastructure and protocols built specifically for how they operate. Demand for DeFi protocols built for and by AI agents without waiting for humans to write code will grow.
Proven Product–Market Fit
Mosaic builds on a model that's already been validated with real client demand. A previous iteration of the product demonstrated that teams want modular infrastructure and are willing to pay for it. We're taking what worked and refining it for the next phase of web3 evolution, where speed and security aren't trade–offs—they're requirements.
The Opportunity
AI development tooling is evolving rapidly, but advancements in web3 are not being made at the same pace. As the activity in crypto markets generated by AI agents continues to grow, the demand for DeFi protocols built for and by those agents will become more valuable.
Our goal is to enable compatibility with emerging tools to make building more efficient in the web3 space, and allow founders to quickly meet the ever–changing narrative (e.g. prediction markets, launchpads, new DeFi primitives) as they arise.
Business Model
Mosaic's business model allows us to begin generating revenue immediately, rather than being dependent solely on funding, future launches, or forward–looking revenue before making money.
In the long run, we generate revenue from transaction fees on our infrastructure. In the short term, R&D costs for customized modules also provide a revenue source for Mosaic. This creates a sustainable, scalable business model that grows with our users' success rather than depending on grant funding or token speculation.
Revenue Streams
Infrastructure Fees
We collect a small percentage of the value flowing through workflows deployed on Mosaic infrastructure. This aligns our incentives with our users, since we succeed when their protocols see real usage.
Custom Builds
For teams that need more specialized workflows, we offer custom development on top of our module library. These engagements generate immediate revenue while producing new reusable modules that strengthen the ecosystem.
Grant Funding
We also work with chains and foundations to establish mutually beneficial partnerships and fund new ecosystem deployments. Grants are treated as early–stage cash flow allocated toward research and development, not as the core business model.
Roadmap
We're taking a deliberate three–stage approach to launching Mosaic. Our roadmap is organized into phases with clear objectives focused on de–risking the product, proving demand, and scaling sustainably.
Phase 1: Foundation
Prove product–market fit with real deployments. We'll secure pilot customers across key verticals such as launchpads, prediction markets, and DeFi protocols. We'll deploy and refine our core modules, gather user feedback, and produce case studies that demonstrate how Mosaic accelerates time to market.
Phase 2: Partnership and Scale
Once we've validated the product, we'll focus on distribution. This includes strategic partnerships with L2 networks, a public brand launch, expanded module libraries based on demand, and features that enable AI agents to deploy and manage protocols autonomously.
Phase 3: Ecosystem Growth
The long–term objective is to become the default infrastructure layer for rapid DeFi deployment. We'll integrate with major AI agent frameworks, launch a partner program with incentives, introduce modules for more complex financial primitives, and expand to additional chains and ecosystems.
Our Team
We're a team of builders and smart contract security auditors who have experienced first–hand how hard it is to build and scale in web3. Mosaic is a response to the friction we've seen (and felt) across dozens of projects and ecosystems.
